FAQ

How do we react to the risk of infection from COVID-19?

In order to ensure the protection of our guests and employees, we have adapted our operation to the current situation:

  • Disinfect your hands when entering the Old Salt Works. Disinfectants are available in both the entrance and exit areas.
  • The maximum permissible group size per guided tour as well as any further restrictions on regular guided tour operations depend on the (changing) legal requirements in Bavaria and the hygiene concept we have drawn up and adapted on this basis.
  • We recommend that our guests wear a medical mask in the Old Salt Works as well as during the guided tour and - wherever possible - keep a distance of 1.5 meters from other guests.

The following persons are excluded from entry:

  • Persons with contact with COVID-19 cases within the past 14 days;
  • Persons with typical symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection (fever, cough, loss of smell or taste, shortness of breath).
  • Visitors entering directly from an area that is classified as a risk area according to the current information on the designation of international risk areas by the German Foreign Office, BMI and BMG at the time of the visit must comply with the legal requirements currently in force for this (testing, quarantine if necessary, etc.).
