Declaration on accessibility

We, Südwestdeutsche Salzwerke AG, Salzgrund 67, 74076 Heilbronn (hereinafter referred to as “SWS”), endeavor to make our services accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).
This declaration on accessibility applies to the website www.alte-saline.de
General description of services
SWS also offers online stores or contact forms on its websites that enable customers to order SWS products, purchase tickets and services or get in touch with SWS.
Status of compatibility with accessibility requirements
The SWS websites are partially compliant with the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not yet barrier-free:
PDF documents: some of our PDF documents are not accessible. We are working hard to adapt them or provide accessible alternatives.
• Videos: Some of our embedded videos do not currently have subtitles and do not meet all accessibility requirements such as synchronous subtitles with additional audio description for visual content, optimized keyboard navigation, correctly sized icons, adherence to the “Reduced Motion” setting in the browser and optimization for screen readers. We will en-deavor to integrate all videos barrier-free in the future.
• Contact forms: Some contact forms on the website require the addition of legends to field-sets, as well as the assignment of notes to labels and fields. This adjustment will be made in the course of 2026.
• Blog: Some adjustments need to be made in the blog area to ensure accessibility. These adjustments will be made in the course of 2026.
• Login area for partners and tour operators in the ticket store: As this is purely a B2B tool, the login area is only optimized for A-Standard.
• Images without alternative text: Some images on the website have no alternative text. We are constantly checking and updating this content.
We are currently working with our service providers to make our websites fully accessible.
Creation of this accessibility statement
This statement was created on 30.06.2025. This statement will be updated regularly to meet current requirements and standards.
